After working in the building industry in The Netherlands for more than 25 years I moved to New Zealand in 2005.
After being involved in/working for a number of building companies in Christchurch I decided to start my own business.
Pete Knuiman Ltd began in 2009 and specializes in home/rental maintenance and small renovations. Have a look at the projects on this site.
I am an owner/operator so I try to ensure that the building work I take on can be carried out by myself. However if the work requires extra hands I have since I started my business, built up a small network of builders who I can call on when necessary to complete larger jobs.
